My Walther P22 was/is an awesome host, it fed all types of junk ammo reliably. Brought replacement front sight posts, and comes threaded from factory, just needed adapter.
I like my P22 with the exception being the mag release. However it does suppress well and shoots anything I feed it. The only complaint is last time I fired it I was trying to shoot the head off a daisy from a sitting position and couldn't do it within 2-3 yds. I do not buy that it was my error. I must have to drift the rear sight?
I have the new Ruger 50th Anniversary threaded barrel 10/22 takedown. I havent shot it much yet but previously had a standard 10/22 that was awesome suppressed. It was non factory threaded and I eventually moved up to the new version because 1) it still retianed the front post, where the first one had to have it removed and two it makes an excellent camp gun broken down. AND it comes with a nice bag that it, the suppressor, spare mags, the BX25 mags and even a cleaning kit fit into.
I am hoping for one of those BSA sweet scopes for it for Xmas.
