Hello All,

So here is the deal I Love Love shooting suppressed I have 1 suppressor currently another I’m waiting on!

what I have is Tbac Ultra 7 .264 model love it use it on dang near every 6.5 I own (would be all but my Mother in Law kinda claimed my 527 6.5 Grendel as her deer rifle so I’m not to change a thing on it lol) also my 30 inch 6.5x284 Savage F class isn’t threaded because who would want to add another 7 inches to that heavy long monster

I am waiting on a Tbac Takedown .22 can because you haven’t lived till you’ve shot a suppressed .22LR and it’s movie style quiet!!!!

I know I could just run my Ultra 7 on a bolt action .223 such as my Savage Vlp model 12 223 but what fun is that

Sooooo I am looking for a New Can Accuracy is paramount for this particular can and I have no clue where to look so any suggestions @MachIVshooter
I feel like you have some thoughts on the subject @Varminterror i know you like accurate rifles any thoughts @Nature Boy I’ve seen some of your Uber accurate slick rigs please jump in if you can
@Walkalong I think you compete in rifle shooting events so would you or @taliv have any experience in this arena thank you all for your Thoughts

Sorry I’m not sure what you’re asking. What do you want the new can for?

I’m not aware of a better precision can than the Tbac. It’s going to sound just as good on a smaller caliber. I don’t think it’s worth the money to buy a new one just to get a smaller hole in the end if that’s what you’re asking. But I have 3 of the same model Tbac because I used to take new shooters to the range a lot and I wanted multiple guns on the line at same time without having to move the suppressor between guns every other minute. Also for redundancy

I’m actually not a huge fan of dedicated 223/5.56 cans. The advantage of 5.56 cans is that they are smaller and lighter than 30cal cans, but often, a bigger caliber can, being larger overall, will be quieter than a 5.56 can. So for me, it’s SiCo Omega or TBAC Ultra (their new Magnus is awesome, but it’s a 9” can, and would be really big for a 5.56). Quieter and more adaptable - I’d get another Ultra 7.

Getting another ultra 7 isn’t a horrible idea……

What I was asking was “What Can would you Recommend for a Precision bolt action rifle chambered in .223?”

Other than in applications where I'm trying to keep OAL down like SBRs and carbines, I generally run our Accipiter .30 in 8" flavor, including on my .220 swift and 22" bull barrel .223 Wylde AR.

We make a lightweight Ti version of it, but the 2 aforementioned hosts are already heavy guns meant to be used from static positions, so I just use our 17-4 stainless critters.

If you’re happy with the Tbac you’ve got I’d stick with it for sure.

I don’t have a 223 bolt gun but the 223 can I have on my precision AR is the delta p designs brevis. If I could buy their brevis 2 I would in a heartbeat.
