IOR Valdada scope has a neat-looking reticle like a Dragunov, but better, and with multiple aiming chevrons.

But the ranging scale bottom right is calibrated to 24" targets. Car tires? Torso height? Is it something obvious paper-target or hunting related?

Remember, you dont need to use 24" if you can do math.

For instance you could use 16" (2/3 of 24)

Range on the 16" object, then divide by 2/3... i.e. if you ranged using a 16" object and it the scope says 300 yds, it is actually 200 yds away.

24 inches in this case, is just a mark, whatever you think is 24 inches, use that as your ruler, and guestimate other things. hey, i think then this thing out there is 12 inches wide, or 15 or 20 , whatever, then use that line to help you rangefind.
