NEF 20 gauge single-shot. I bought it for my 20th birthday. I traded it against a similar gun, an H&R Handi-rifle with 20 gauge smooth and rifled barrels, and a .30-30 barrel.

Semi-auto M16 replica chambered in .22 that my dear Uncle Charles purchased for me back in the early 1980s.

Still have it laying around here somewhere.

Westerfield octogon barrle pump 22, given to me on my 8th birthday, by my grandpa, It shot 22 short Long and long rifle, and if you held the trigger you could slam fire, He He He, Still have it!, My Son was born on 15Dec 2008 Hunter Thompson King, and he already owns his first rifle,
Winchester modle 68

.38 special snub nose. My father gave it to me. He bought it from a local police officer. Not gonna say anything else cause it was unique in a funny way. It was stolen when someone broke out the window of my truck while parked at the hospital. Never will be seen again. Yes I did report the incident and collected insurance. Police officer was very nice.

Armscor .22, Dont have it, literally wore it out. Had the firing pin re-worked 2 times. I shot THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of rounds through that .22. It was very accurate. I actuall have been thinking about getting another one! :D

Marlin-Glenfield Model 60. My first handgun was a Targa GT-380, a cheap Italian Beretta .380 clone. First centerfire rifle was a 6.5mm Carcano.

A Ruger 10/22. Shot it first when I was four and a half but it had officially been mine since dad found out I was a boy. I still shoot it to this day. It has given me a significant bias in the Ruger vs. Marlin .22 debate.

Mossberg Maverick 88. $125 or so at the new Wally World Supercenter, about 7 years ago. Bought it at 11pm still wearing my chef's uniform on the way home from work. covered in grease stains and blood. (i wonder what they thought of that?) I actually walked in looking for a .410 for backyard plinking, and got talked into the 12g.

Mossberg 500A 12gauge that I have now heavily upgraded with a Knox SpecOps and a front pistol grip

Went in the day after my 18th birthday and bought a Yugoslavian SKS. Originally planned on "bubba-ing" it, but I liked it so much the way it was I have never messed with it. It is still a dependable weapon and serves as my hog gun.

My first firearm that I purchased with my own money was a Mossberg Model 800 243 rifle. I was 15 or had just turned 16. That held me until I got out of college. I sold it a while back to a fella that really like Mossie's. I wasn't shooting it and he would appreciate it. It is kind of like giving puppies away, you want to give them a good home regardless of $.

Oops. I bought a Rem Model 700 in 270 win a couple years after the Mossberg. Then I was good to go until I was out of college. :)

H & R Sportsman, model 999, I think it was. Top-break-open .22 revolver, 9 shot. One of the prettiest guns I've ever seen, and very accurate, despite having a somewhat heavy trigger.

Sold it many years back, and I wish I hadn't, just for its looks.

Mossberg 500 w/ 18.5 inch barrel. I was never allowed guns by my mom, not cap guns, toy guns, ...we did have squirt guns....but that was it! :)

When I got to college, I was working nights, and my girlfriend, and future wife, was home alone. I got the shotgun mainly for her protection, and then I was hooked after a few rounds of trap.

I have collected a few more guns over the years, and feel that it is exponential to how I was raised with none!

Bolt action .22 rifle handed down by Grandpa. Shoots short, long and lr. Hey, can you even by 22 short anymore? I have a second rifle, again from grandpa, single shot that only takes 22 short.
