What Was Your First Reloading Press? Do You Still Have It?

Mine was the Lee Hand Press, I still have it, but I don't use it anymore.

First Reloading Press

We bought a RCBS Rockchucker from Barry Trew's Gun Shop Bentleyville,Pa in Sep 1975. We are still using it and have never had any problems with the press.

RCBS Rockchucker, bought in 1978, and I still use it for all my rifle reloading. I use an newer RCBS turret press for handgun calibers so I don't have to fiddle with expander plugs and seating dies. I have six turret heads for the handguns.

RCBS JR back in 1960s. Before that was a Lee Classic whackem reloader, I still have them both.

Dillon Square Deal B, purchased new in 1995, set up for 40S&W. Upgraded with the strong mount a few years later. Have added 38/357, 9mm, and 44 Mag over the years. Great equipment, great hobby!

Bought a Lee single stage about 24 years ago. Looked cheap, felt cheap, I had little money and it worked. Was a little weak for my 270 so I scraped up something like $25 for a cheap Lee O-Frame (don't know the model). I always figured I'd get a Rockchucker or a Crusher and a Dillon when I had the money.

So here I am, 24 years later, can easily afford either or both and I'm still using my Lee's, they just keep working. I'm not your high volume reloader/ shooter, about 1000 rounds a year. I like the single stage for decapping, sizing and flaring pistol and the O-frame has been good enough for my rifle cartidges and I use it to seat/ crimp pistol 'cause it's a little more consistent for COAL.
