Just wandering what is the best way to hold the CnB revolvers to load the cylinder ? One of those wooden pistol stands , one of the cylinder loaders or between the knee's ?

A cylinder loader is really the easiest way and I highly recommend them. A loading stand is helpful if you don't have a cylinder loader, but it's not a necessity. For a field load, I either rest the butt on the hood of my vehicle and load with my right hand, or hold it in my left and load with my right.

Either a stand borrowed at the range on held in left hand.

Those little stands are great but getting scarce. Remember to keep your hand out from in front of the cylinder when you're working the loading lever, you never know when that stuff is gonna go off.
And I hold it with my right hand and load with my left, bein' a "southpaw". ;)

The most efficient and fastest/safest loading process I've come across is the bench loader arrangement. (see thumbnail) I drilled holes in the 4 corners and attached it to a 6" x 8" piece of wood to make it nice and stable.

This works especially well with the Remington's since cylinder removal is so easy. Just place the cylinder on the pin, drop in your charge (I uses Pellets) drop in felts ( I use the cap dowel to make these sit flat) then press the ball in each chamber. At this point I load up the 2nd cylinder, so I have two ready to go with only the cap on the nipple step left prior to shooting.
