Since the Sandy Hook shooting I've seen a lot of discussion from people willing to give up private sales (gun show loophole) and high cap magazines to appease the Feinstein bunch.

With freedom comes responsibility. How much more of your rights will you give up the next time a mental case breaks every law possible and abuses his freedom? Don't fool yourself, it's going to happen again. Might be 1 year, maybe 5, maybe 20. There's no way to stop it no matter what you do.

Anyone have a list of the order in which they would propose to sacrifice our rights?

Exactly.

It's like negotiating with cannibals about if you will let them eat your hands or your feet first, so long as they just let you live a while longer.

Don't expect to get any sort of coherent answer from the quislings. They haven't thought that far ahead.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk. Hence all the misspellings and goofy word choices.

Yes we have.
i have made several proposals in several threads and the usual answer is 'it ain't gonna happen.'...

Just curious what the Criminals are giving up. Just curious what the defense lawyers are giving up. Just curious what lenient Judges are giving up..... opps sorry for the HiJack

listen.. the only reason the government wants to close these "loopholes" is so they can keep a database of all gun owners and every gun they own by ensuring no guns legally change hands without their supervision... the first step to a gun grab

if we dont lose any second amendment rights itll only be because someone blames mental health or video games/media...

in this case if media is allowed to be strictly controlled we will have lost our first amendment rights

if they claim theyre going to create some kind of early detection for mental health, or new techniques for searching out these people before they commit crimes itll mean mass surveillance of the internet (including going through these forums with a fine-tooth comb), or it would give the government the power to simply declare an individual to be troubled and be able to lock them up as they choose... this is a violation of the fourth amendment relating to the surveillance, and a loss of any number of basic human rights relating to the locking up of individuals of their choosing

so... unless nothing at all happens, we're going to end up losing some rights in one place or another, constitution rights designed to do nothing more but give the government more control over its people... so we'd be lucky if nothing at all comes from this, and thats what im hoping for
