I mean you got an 8 foot tall, 700lb bloodthirsty sasquatch bearing down on you - this is no time for merely adequate firepower, eh? Best to dispense with the .223s and .243s. Keep your 6.5 Swede for those long deer shots. The venerable .30-06? I'd rather stop him in his tracks than have a 100 yard long blood trail with my carcass at one end and his at the other. I'm thinkin' the Marlin 1895 carbine in .450 Marlin with ghost ring sights. On the other hand if it's just a dumbass in a bigfoot halloween costume, the .223 would be fine.

I dunno about the zombie comparison. From what I hear, zombies are nasty but die easy. No-one knows how tough bigfoot is, but based on size I'd have to put him in angry grizzly category. If I had an angry grizzly 20 ft from me I wouldn't want a 6.5 or a typical zombie popper. The .375 looks like a good ticket though!

Haven't you guys seen the Jack Links commercials? Bigfoots are like the A-team - they don't kill anyone; just rough them up a bit. No need to shoot them.

Rem. 1740.

Ha - is there anything that that gun CAN'T do?

That's what bigfoot really is, some strange human, that when intoxicated, transforms into an ape.

All of those suggestions would be fine for Mogwhy but stick to a taser for bigfoot. This way you don't go to the bighouse for killing a drunk guy making a movie.
