What would you do if you had a $200 credit at Cabelas and a ruger target 22 coming?
Would you go to Cabelas and buy a nice scope for the 22 or would you use the $200 toward another ruger 22?

Added 5 firearms this year, some back to back. It was difficult spreading the love with my hectic schedule. Perhaps you've got more time but $200 is the start of a good scope for what you've got on the way. Unless you've got other shooters in the family???

Why get 2 of the same?? Either put it towards a different firearm OR get a good scope in order to make your 22 Target as awesome as possible! (Either way, you are in a good spot. I wish I had $200 to spend at Cabelas tomorrow with no buyer's remorse...)

Honestly if I had 200 dollars to spend it would go towards ammo and/or accessories for my AR. It has consumed most of my firearm budget since I got it

But in your case I would go for a scope and some ammo for that new .22 and go have some fun when it arrives

Awesome! thanks for the replies! I was kind of looking at the Burris Fullfield II Tac 30 scope or a Leupold scope. I appreciate the opinions! I do like the Idea of spending dough on something AR related...just built an ArmaLite and its fun.

Go buy an SKS with a knife on it. Then you can have a gun & a weapon
