I want to put an adjustable sight on my 92FS since it shoots low and to the left. I have a new LPA sight to install but my hard 'tapping' on the original rear sight has not yeilded any movement. I have masked the sight and brass punch and no marring yet. Before getting out the 9 lb sledge, I think a trip to a smith might be better. Or should I get more agressive with it?

So, what's a fair price for a smith to charge for the removal and install.

Thanks.

To be sure..

...

Beretta's go on and off the opposite than most guns..

As you are holding the gun, to shoot.. KEY

From your Right push Left to take sight Off.. <

From your Left push Right to put sight ON.. >

Basically the formula for Beretta's is < Left-OFF, Right-ON >

Other than that, should only cost around 30 bucks or less, but the time wait may be long using a gunsmith..

Good, I was tapping it the right direct. That is the same directing shown on the packaging instructions for the LPA sight.
