What do you recommend for a laser bore-sighter? Ideally, I would like one with a simple design that can be used with both rifle and pistol calibers, and not overly expensive. Is the one from Leopold a good choice? Other suggestions? Thank you!

i've been happy with and had good luck with a laserlyte brand i purhased off the internet. mcole

Cabela's has a universal laser bore sighter for about $50 IIRC. It has worked very well on various handguns and rifles so far.

I think it is a generic version og the Laserlyte or similar brand.

I picked up one on clearance from wallyworld for $2. It's a "Laserlyte". It works really well indoors for pistols and it will get rifles on paper. At dusk, it works well outdoors to get scoped rifles pretty much on the X (unfortunately I don't have anywhere inside that is 100 yards or I wouldn't have to wait till dusk :D )
