$317.00 for a new Lux is a pretty good price. However we were talking about the "Scout" the one that's designed for youths, it sells for quite a bit less.

A single shot is a great first rifle.

Find her a used Ithaca model 49 single shot lever action. Great first rifle and good looking. Pawn shops, gun show and gun auctions is where you can find them. Easy to load.
