Wish someone made an affordable lever action for it, I know marlin once made an 1894 in .32 h&r mag wonder if it can be converted to .327 mag or if the pressures are too great.

Ranger Point Precision in Cypress, TX can convert a 32-20 Marlin to 327. I have one. I believe you must provide the rifle as they depleted their stock shortly after mine was done. "Affordable" may be the operative word. paid 1700 but I did not have a rifle. I think it is much cheaper if you have rifle.. Of course Henry came out with one after I got mine.. But there is no comparison between the Marlin and the Henry.

I want. I've been enjoying 3-inchers. I have a real nice 3-inch stainless Taurus 85 I'm very impressed with, kind of a "poor man's" SP-101.

I, too, was afraid for the longevity of the .327 FM round. Even turned down a Single Six in the caliber for what was probably a good price a year or so back.

I think now it's gonna be around for a bit. After all, .32 H&R still is.

I love 3" steel revolvers. I have a 3" Speed Six, but I'd love a six-shot SP101 to match.

Henry has the .327 out I just don't like loading a tube, I would rather have a side gate.
The marlin is strong enough, I read articles on it being converted. It's just out of my price range to buy one then pay almost same price again to be converted.

I keep hoping for another mfg to make a .327 lever. But I will probably just wind up buying a Henry should be some good velocity out of a 20" barrel.

I have a Henry rifle. The velocity is good but the limitation is bullets designed for the velocity and energy if you don't cast. I have a mold for a 120 GC that takes the velocity. The other thing about the Henry is the flexibility in cartridge length. You can shoot 32 S&W Longs, 32 Mags and 327 Mags through the Henry. The 32 S&W is good for plinking and small game and you can go up in power if you need/want more. I took the 327 GP100 out too for comparison to give an idea of the gain provided by the rifle. The ones with "GP" at the end are from the 4.2" barrel GP100.

I think Henry is coming out with a lever action in 327
Yes, I’ve Got one of the new Henry’s. Went with the short barrel model. Haven’t fired it yet...been deer hunting then went down with strep throat for past two weeks. Feels good in the hands.

Lack of a loading gate is a non issue for me. Having a .327 carbine (without loading gate) in my hands to buddy up with my Ruger 327 revolvers trumps not having a 327 carbine, period. Just sayin’...

You can shoot 32 S&W Longs, 32 Mags and 327 Mags through the Henry.

Thanks I was wondering about .32 long.
Will it feed .32 long wadcutters? Henry only lists 327 and .32 h&r on their website. I would be mostly shooting .32 long and wanted to be sure it would cycle them.

The 32 S&W wadcutters are too short. Minimum in mine is OAL of 1.16" and max appears to be 1.53". Anything in between there will work. I have some 90 grain 32 S&W Long SWCs that work well.
