What's that about SpeedFeed?

First time I've heard/seen anything like that. Can you elaborate as to a particular model, and what you dislike about it?
I was considering the "SPEEDFEED® III" for my 500A, #0255 as a set. (Don't need the forend, but I can't remember the number for the buttstock only.)
I do like the idea of having another four shells handy, but haven't committed to any make or model as yet. (Still picking all the other members' brains for opinions. )

My 870 police came with speedfeed stocks with the 4 shell carriers in the stock. I am not a big fan either. If you shoot left handed the shell holder on the right side will not be comfortable on your cheek. Also, I have had shells pop out of it during use and it was awkward to me to pull shells out of it. I picked up a plain jane speedfeed stock sans the shell holders off ebay for $15 and just use an elastic buttstock shell holder for 5 extra shots. The other one just sits in a drawer right now.

Ah ha. Something that's good to know ahead of time, especially if I'm going to be doing a bunch of slug shooting.
