What's the biggest auto-loader you've ankle-carried?

As a cop many moons back, I carried a Walther PPK/S on an ankle as a BUG. Before that, I had carried a Charter Arms Undercover 38. With the rig I had, I got used to it pretty quickly and never had any issues once I did.

I did see another officer (an unpaid reserve who was riding with me one night) lose his BUG during a foot chase one time. He was ahead of me, and I stopped to retrieve his gun, a heavy RG .38.

I may be returning to ankle-carry soon. The part-time pizza delivery gig I work is changing uniforms to one that will require tucked-in shirts, eliminating my current OWB-carry practice. I intend to pocket-carry my P32 (a step down from my belt-carried PF9), but may also add the .38 snub to an ankle.

I carry constantly at work using either a Crossbreed Supertuck or Desantis Sof-Tuck, tucked in business shirt with no cover garment. Gun is Ruger SR9c.

No one knows except those I've told (including the boss).

That's fantastic. Never seen a tuckable holster before. This may be a better solution than ankle carry for me. Thank you!

Glock 26. Only once so far, for a wedding.

Generally when forced to ankle carry it has been a S&W 642 in a Galco Ankle Glove, but I recently acquired an Ankle Glove for the Glock 26.

You've never seen a tuckable IWB holster before?

Wow, you need to get out more! Those have been commonplace and quite popular for years and years.

Go have a look around. :)

I'm primarily a trapshooter. Awfully hard to conceal a Browning BPS with a 28" barrel and a Monte Carlo stock ;) I'm pretty new to the whole handgun-and-CC thing.

Check this out:

Telor Tactical Comfort Air ankle holster.

I got one got my P3AT and never thought an ankle holster could be this comfortable. It's snug, but not too tight. Gun does not shift when you walk. I'v worn it comfortably for 12 hours at a time. In fact , I'm ordering one for my PF9, too. That's a slightly larger pistol, but I have confidence that I'll be happy carrying it in the Comfort Air.

Good luck!
-Jeff
