What's the most strange/uncommon caliber you've owned/fired?

.38 S&W. Have some rounds still laying around somewhere.

Own and like the 10mm. But hopefully everyone doesn't consider that a "strange/uncommon" cartridge anymore.

Here's another the 7mm IHMSA silhouette. It is a .300 Savage necked down to 7mm. Was one of of the wildcats created by Elgin Gates when he headed up IHMSA.

I fired a 300 Weatherby Magnum once...and just one round. Not exactly strange but certainly very uncommon.

I fired off 6 41 Magnums which I thought was pretty cool...and not the least bit common...but again not strange.

I once owned a 7x57 which is right on the line where uncommon (in the USA) starts to kick in.

Strange? That's gonna be something like 9.3x54R or something like that.

The only one that I own/shoot that might be considered rare is 7.7x58mm Jap.

Hornady and Norma both still do limited runs of it though.

Uncommon Caliber

I once owned a sporterized 1917 Enfield that was converted from 30-06 to .308 Norma Magnum. It was a lot louder and trajectory much flatter than the 30-06.

Difficult ammo to buy; one must reload or be a millionaire!

.510 Whisper. It launches any .50BMG sized bullet. I have one on my keyring, and people always ask what it is.
