What's with this case head?

Found this while sorting through my latest haul from the local range. Its a 9mm case with a completely illegible headstamp. Almost seems eroded. It has a slight concave shape to it too, causing the primer to sit slightly proud.

The rest of the case looks normal.

I've heard about reloading them till the headstamp wears off, but I dont know, I dont think that is what I am looking at here. Have any ideas?

Looks like it was heavily oxidized then tumbled until clean.

Also looks like someone loaded that case up to 9mm Major.
