Whats wrong with some Americans any more? Everyone ( Well all the pansy liberals anyway ) thinks President Bush is the creator of all evils and downfalls in this country. Are liberals that depressed they have to always put down GWB because there own party failed them for 8 years until present. Wake up and smell the coffee! GWB is the only President in the past 11 years to have the b*lls to take a stand and fight terrorism once and for all.

Klinton just had his thumbs up his butt and was more worried about his p____ and a legacy( a good one) he never would have. So GWB stands up and fights and some accuse him of leading the country into the perils of hell.

What ever happened to patriotism and standing behind our leader. Maybe if some of the liberal spent less time whining, maybe the rest of the world would see unity and strenth, instead the see weekness amoungst the ranks and are laughing at us. They divided and conquered us and the liberal help them do it. are you all too damn stupid to see it.

The morality of this country is going to hell in a hand basket in a hurry. Its easier to blame one President and his administration than to help him find a solution to the problem. Some would rather just wein and wait for the great liberal democratic savior to come along and save them. What a bunch of spineless sheeple. God help us if the Dems win the 04 election, we will be putting our hands up to terrorism and become the shooting gallery country for all terrorists. :cuss: Ok rant over!

Yup, that's right - you either support Bush or you're a liberal. A "weining" liberal, no less (perhaps you meant "whining"?).

Bush is simply another president in a long line of presidents to prune freedom back more and more. The Dems like taking pot shots at the 2nd Amendment, and the 'Pubs like taking pot shots at the 4th. What a choice.

Perhaps you mean Republicans instead of pubs ( I believe that is an establishment that serves alcohol.) Yes you have a choice...Vote republican !

Vote republican !

For most of us that value freedom and the BOR in its entirety, that is no longer a reasonable choice. It's the scenic route to the destruction of what this country was founded upon, instead of the expressway the Dems would have us on.

And insinuating that patriotism and standing behind "our leader" are somehow intertwined holds no water with me. None

No your right its better to mock him , put him in the gutter then it is for the people and dems to work with him . IiTs also ok for us to look like a divided nation as well ...I forgot the new American logo...Lets hate America first

Did you stand behind Bill Clinton?

I don't give blind allegience to a political position.

At this point in time, it's called "Presidential Election". You have a dozen Democrats following the standard democratic campaign strategy of attacking everything the republican does in the hopes of finding some chink in the armor. Then you have the news media, which does anything possible to get Democrats elected, putting nothing but back news stories on TV or in the paper. Wall to wall bad news. The president can't do anything right.

Then you have the average joe blow who doesn't give a hoot about politics, Iraq, Democrats or gun control. They want to be left alone. They get off work, come home and are bombarded with stories of everything that isn't perfect in America and the endless promises of the Democrats on how they will make things better if elected.

That's what's wrong in America. Business as usual.

I don't hate America. I don't even hate GWB. You see, I've never met him.

I do hate what he has done to my country.

I agree that he has balls: other peoples' balls.

If he were "fighting terrorism", we'd be in Saudi Arabia now, not Iraq.

Remember, when it was his opportunity to go (as a pilot), he scampered.

Hell, George Bush isn't even pro-second ammendment!

He's been in office a couple years and he's had 9/11 give him a perfect opportunity to arm pilots, and remove the restrictions on firearms ownership so that americans could fight terrorists if we need to.

Instead, he's disarming americans-- takign their tweezers away as they go on planes (what a laugh!) and enacting new gun bans (unconstitutionally even.)

If he's pro-second ammendment, then:

Why hasn't he introduced legislation to repeal the 1934 gun ban?
Why hasn't he introduced legislation to get the US out of the UN?
Why hasn't he vetoed the Patriot act?
Why hasn't he introduced legislation to repeal the 1968 gun ban?
Why hasn't he tried to get the brady bill repealed?

The only thing he hasn't done that's excusible is not attempt to repeal the AWB, as it will expire of its own accord.

But we have a republican congress and presidency-- why aren't they undoing the damage of the Democrats?

The answer is that they are no different than Democrats, in the end.

As a lifelong Republican, it truly pains me ot say this...but, I agree!

But the alternative... :banghead:

Oh like the Dems had balls for 8 years during the Klinton circus..please sapre me:rolleyes:

As far as GWB's military service!!!!.....At least he wasn't talking s**t about his country waving a anti-america sign at Oxford University in England. That is being a total spinless coward! At least Bush did something to serve his country.:fire:

Patriotism has nothing to do with following some political figure head blindly into battle.

The term - fool hearted - comes to mind.

I think the time has come to redefine the word Patriotism.

Those that say Bush hasn't done this or that, remember he has to work with the legislature. Both Dems and Repubs.

If he didn't it would be called a dictatorship.

WOW I'm amazed how many liberal pukescan be on one site. Presidents are just figure heads in theory, We still need to respect them while in office and have faith in the military and the administration will work together. Everyone seems quick to critisize but when asked never has a good solution.
