Sorry for the noob question, I'm new to NFA weapons and try to do my own research but I'm stumped on this one.

One day I plan to buy a Norrell trigger pack (when I can afford it and if I find one). This supprressed Norrell trigger 10/22 has been on GunBroker for months, makes me think something's wrong with it... but what??? What am I missing?? From what I've been able to find the price is right (and despite the economy some people still have a boat load of $$ to blow on guns).

(even if I could afford it, I couldn't buy it, no suppressors allowed in Michigan :banghead:)

The part that it's installed in a rifle of unknown year of manufacture worries me. I'm an NFA noob to say the least...but the thought of buying that gives me the heebies...especially the part about the trigger group being registered separately.

I'd have to see the owner's current tax stamps and get them verified before I'd even consider it.

The price is fine, the gun is fine, the major thing is that MGs aren't selling well right now. They're a whole lot of money for one gun, and the economy isn't conducive to disposable income.

No a bad price at all, before the economy went belly up the last trigger pack I transferred was 9.5k for the pack and bolt...no rifle included.

I have turned down 11k for mine, trigger pack is well used but the original norrell suppressed rifle is MINT...and will stay that way...lol..

I disagree wholeheartedly. Nearly every SMG I have brought in this year has sold.

No kidding? Good on you. :)

How many would that be, anyway? I'm quite curious, as most of the NFA dealers that stock MGs around here seem to be doing terrible business indeed, and many private sellers aren't able to move inventory as they'd like.

I'd love to own that and it's a good price if it runs right. I want a norrell trigger pack but the going rate seems to be about $10k. A lot of money for a .22 machinegun (thanks a lot senator hughes) but a cheap gun to run. .compared to a centerfire.

MGs seem to be selling fine around here

however, that gun is way overpriced. you can still buy those trigger packs new for about $7k i think and build your own gun.

his ad says he's owned that gun personally for over 20 years. i can't even begin to count how many 550ct wallyworld bulk packs have gone through my full-auto 22lr upper after just 4-5 years. after 20 years... geez.

guys, just my opinion and maybe i get too blunt when posting late at night, but paying anywhere close to $10k for a 10/22 trigger pack is just full on stupid.

For $9k, you can buy a registered AR15 lower, and for another $1k, build a SWEET dedicated 22lr upper and a real 5.56 upper.

point being, a good 22 upper is way more reliable than 10/22
AND you can put a good trigger in it (i run the geissele SSF in mine, which is 2stage in semi-auto and 1stage in full) unlike the norrell

Please point out the new Norell trigger packs with silenced rifle for $7k, and the RR M16 for $9k. Closed ads are fine as long as they sold for those prices - I'd love to be proven wrong, but I simply haven't seen those prices in four or so years.

I've done 5. I'd have 7 done but I've just been swamped with silencer sales.
