Taurus PT145 Pro in a DM Bullard leather pancake slide holster 90% of the time. The rest is in my KNJ slide holster, or with my taurus revolver in the KNJ. Carry anywhere from 5 o'clock to 2 o'clock depending on sitting/standing; untucked or w/ a jacket on. Usually have one mag at 9 o'clock in a Galco QMC 28.

This does it for me. Colt's Lightweight Commander .45 ACP, (mfg. 1959) carried in a Kramer Pro-Line Horsehide holster. One extra 8 round magazine.

While some would argue that the two spare magazines, backup hangun, cellphone, light, Leatherman, and knife are "overkill," I would counter that this equipment is probably about perfect for this day and age, especially in a town filled with wayward teens who roam in packs looking for victims.

Your profile says that you live in Wabash, IN. I'm familiar with the area and visit it regularly, but I've never encountered these packs of victim-seeking teens of which you speak.

I, too, carry more gun than I'm likely to need, however. Whenever I'm not at work I've got a Government Model on my hip and a spare magazine in my pocket. That's good enough for me, although I've seriously considered a J-frame for daytime carry during warmer weather.

But when I go to like Movies and stuff and wanna be comfy Ill use the XD Sub 9 or in winter Im going to start using the 1911 I think. Not sure cause wifey REALLY loves it

For me it depends on the season as to what I carry.

Summer
S&W 442 IWB with a speedstrip weakside with a Kel-tec P3AT strongside
pocket.

Fall
Beretta 9000s 9mm OWB pancake holster and sometimes the P3AT pocket

Winter
Springfield GI 1911 OWB pancake with extra mag pouch or a Beretta M9 carried the same way.

Spring
Sig Sauer P239 .357sig in either a IWB or OWB if the weather allows

Hey while I have my druthers, I am going to loan out my CCW to a lady friend to assist a new shooter.

So I will NOT be carrying CCW, nor will I even to bother to carry a CCW permit.
I haven't been CCW-ing for almost a week anyway...
Proving a point, it is the SOFTWARE, not the hardware.

I gotta run to a bad part of town and drop off a package worth some dollars...
betcha I do fine.

I always carry a Kel-tec P-32 in a Desantis Nemesis holster in my front pocket.

I'm pretty much always in shorts and a t-shirt and don't like IWB carry so its usually just the P-32 even though I have holsters for a Smith & Wesson M&P 9, a Ruger P345 and a Bulgarian Makarov.

I carry either a Glock 19 or a Taurus Pro PT140. Sometimes I carry both, one in my maxpedition versipack and the other one IWB. When I am carrying only one I usually do it IWB. I also have the Smartcarry and a few times I go Mexican style!!!!!
