What model fits your hand the best out of the box? I give the nod to the SIG P228 or P226.

I've owned a few, from Glock, Para, SIG, S&W, Colt, SA, Beretta & HK. Of them all, my HK's seem to work for me straight out of the box. The Berettas would be 1 - a

CZ75B with Hogue grips fit my hand better than any other autoloader I have ever picked up. Although I shoot the CZ well I am a little more comfortable with the 1911 platform.......

Agreed SIG P226 and P228 feels best in my hand but the P220ST makes me feel like I've pulled Excalibur out of the stone.

My stock Colt Combat Commander.....Arched MSH, standard grip safety, stock sights, nothing fancy, but it works:D

My new Para-Ordnance 14.45 LDA (with 2 hi cap mags). Took it to the range today. Hooo doggies! Great shooting, just went to the top of the heap. Feels like I can handle any situation with it.

Walther P-99. It feels like they used a model of my hand to make this pistol, it shoots like a dream, and 16 + 1 is plenty of ammo for me.:D Not to mention the mag release is on the trigger guard and makes reloading a snap. Walther...accept no substitute.

A Ruger MKII with walnut grigs and a thumbrest is about as good as it gets for stock panels. I don't think that this discussion is about 22s though, so my vote will have to go to my BHP, followed closely by the 1911

1911, flat mainspring housing, long trigger, no hammer bite (not necessarily a beavertail).

#1 - Browning HP
#2 - 1911
#3 - Glock 17

#86 - Sig P226, P220, etc. Well made, but no pointability in my hand at all.
#87 - S&W autos. Ditto.
