What's your experience with a KKM barrel in a Glock 22?

I bought a KKM barrel for my Glock 22 (40 cal). The first 40 rounds (4 ten-round mags), missfed about two-thirds through the 10 rounds (both factory Federal 155 gr ammo and my 155 gr reloads). It seemed to "break-in" after a while and I only got two more missfeeds next 6 mags. Do I have a problem, or can I expect the barrel to get "broken-in" or do I need to take it to a gunsmith? The copper jacketed rounds are jamming at the 7 o-clock position on the mouth of the KKM barrel. Any ideas or suggestions?

I had a similar experience with a 6" KKM barrel in .357 Sig several years ago. Like most match barrels, the KKM barrels are slightly oversized. As a result, if they aren't fitted properly the gun often won't be 100% reliable. The chambers are also tight and may need to be reamed a little for greater reliability. Most match barrels are made on the assumption that a gunsmith will fit the barrel to the specific gun. A gunsmith could easily tweak the barrel to make it 100% reliable.

Update to my feed problem with my new KKM barrel

FYI, On my second trip to the range, I fired approx 60 rounds of 155 gr, 40 Cal reloads through my new KKM drop-in for my Glock 22. I had only one missfeed, so I assume the barrel is "breakin in."

I have a .357SIG KKM barrel for my G35. No problems. It works just fine. It's accurate and a real plus it's easier to clean than Glock barrels.
