I notice that Glockmeister is advertising caliber conversion barrels from KKM for Glocks. For example, one can buy a 9mm. conversion barrel for a G27 (which is .40 S&W caliber). I'm interested in getting one, but I can't help but wonder - does the standard extractor/ejector setup work with the smaller case?

Has anyone done such a caliber conversion on a Glock (i.e. going from a larger to a smaller case)? Any experience to report?

I just purchased a KKM .40 cal barrel from them to use in my Glock 20, which is 10mm. Shot it yesterday for the first time. Accuracy was outstanding, and it functioned perfectly. The .40 cal is much cheaper to shoot, so it will pay for itself in no time. Was able to use the G20 factory magazine. Really nice barrels. Like having 2 pistols in one.

Excellent quality.
These are tight chambered and require final reaming and barrel hood fitting to realize the true potential.
They are conventional rifled for shooting plain lead bullets and the heat treating is superb.

I also have the KKM .40 converrsion for the Glock 20. It is now the most accurate, softest shooting .40 there is. Very high quality. Point of impact is within 2 inches of the stock 10mm barrel at 25 yards. I probably have 2,500 rounds of .40 through it without a single malfunction. Mine dropped in with no fitting.

I bought a KKM 9mm barrell for my model 35. The fit is a lot tighter than the factory .40 barrell. My idea was to shoot cheaper 9mm ammo for practice, then switch to .40 for matchs, but, I think there is too much difference in felt recoil to switch back and forth.

I purchased on of the Lone Wolf Glock 22 9mm Conversion barrels and the standard slide components work fine, though I am using Glock 17 mags according to their suggestion. I see no reason why the KKM barrels won't work in the G27 the same way.
