50 shots, 15 yrds offhand.

My Model 15, target trigger and hammer with Ahern grips. With my Rossi 92 makes for a very pleasant day of shooting. I do love the 38/44's, one is on my must have list. Someday!

'Ole Stovepipe - Colt Officers Model Special, 6-inch only, with target stocks. Scary past 50-yards.

I never touched a .38/.357M before getting my first of each, a 2" 10 & 6" 66, new 9/03. I had already started making ammo - that 6" 66 with homebrew 148gr LWC would stack them at 12-25 yd. Even that 2" 10, standing & hand held, would regularly ping a steel plate at 110yd. I've added a few since, including a 5" JM PC627 V-Comp and. my latest, a LNIB 4" 64-8. Even that last one is an unreal tackdriver - although, as it is regulated for +P and I shoot softer loads, it hits a tad low. Still, life would be complete with just it as a bullseye/plinker .38.

Made 6/05, it has MIM parts, IL, and a two-piece barrel - but I love it! My non-fg square conversion Ahrends in cocobolo make it a great grab and pointer - besting that beautiful PC 627, even with it's butter-smooth trigger. I bought the 64 as a 'house' gun... it's just a lot of fun. I always wamted a decent 10 that would be easy to clean - I got it!

PS Don't get me wrong... my PC 627 has a home!

14-3 then my 67, and then both of my 64's in 4 and 2 inch. Its even started to affect my son who is only 10 and can pick from a large collection of revolvers and autos has fallen for my 14-3.

S&W 686 Plus, S&W M13

Both of 'em are 4-inch .357s. The M13 is a heavy barrel (but fixed sights) as a police trade-in.

Both shoot like a house on fire. :what: While you might find a target revolver out there in .38 Special, both of these shoot better than I do.
