Mine is a Smith & Wesson 638. I get pretty sweaty at work and need something that will not rust and is lightweight, but accurate enough to trust to be 100%. That's my Smith.

same as my spring fall and winter full size 1911 38 super single stack. Its what I carry. its all I have.

XD45 Compact.

100% reliable, and doesn't print at all, especially important for me, seeing that I'm 5'11 and a buck 75, so I'm pretty small compared to most gun owners ;)

Depends on what I am wearing here.

I have a Galco Summer Comfort holster for both my 1911 and Glock 19 that I use year-round.

If I can get away with it, I carry the 1911. If I am in something a bit more casual and open, I carry the Glock 19.

I've been very impressed with the Galco Summer Comfort Holster. I got one in 1994 for my Glock 19, and only recently had to replace it due to some neglect on my part. I decided to get one for the 1911 when I replaced the one for the Glock, and I got one for my Father-in-Law's 1911 as well.

G23 or P239, year round. Reason, Their both 100% reliable, and more accurate than me:)

Rotate between S&W 637-2 and KAHR P9. Light and very easy to conceal. South Texas weather demands as little clothes as possible in the Summer. T-shirt 90% of the time.

Going to the Final Four Game today, so won't be carrying anything. Those times I feel down right naked!

Rotate between 1911 and a taurus m66 .357 depending on clothes and open or conceiled carry. I like to open carry, but sometimes I'm in a place where I'd rather not.

Summer is when the bears (grizzlies) are out. Down off the mountain where the bears don't go much its often a pre-64 Winchester 94 carbine, and a Smith 24 or, recently, a Smith 19, tho I find I REALLY don't like the noise level of the 357. Up on the mountain, or on the fringes, a Browning 1886 carbine, and Ruger Vaquero 45 Colt with 325 gr loads, and once in a while, a 4" Smith 29.

Am working on a tang safety Ruger 77 in 260 cal for off the mountain, it will give more range than the 94, and be a fun longer range shooter for our steel plates. Coyotes, mountain lions and wolves all frequent the areas I go dog walking. I like having a good reach to cover them. The '06 isn't much fun to shoot with the shoulder injury.

Summer Is the Same...

...as winter, spring and fall - a S&W 640-1 in an IWB holster behind each hip. Guns are worn under an untucked polo shirt and are the same guns, in the same mirror-image locations, accessible with the same draw stroke, regardless of how many other garments are layered in colder weather. The Cor-Bon DPX loads, chosen, in part, for expansion after penetration of a few layers of winter clothing, should work just as well in summer.

(Contrary to popular belief, Arizona is not all low desert - I live at 6,500 feet above sea level, not far from one of the state's largest ski resorts.)
