do you worry about the small fleks you cant get out or blow out before adding the new powder? I cant seem to get all my Titegroup out of the Dillon 550 hopper before I add in some Trail Boss. Theres a crossbar piece at bottom of the hopper that is hiding small fleks. Im sure that in such small amounts there is no need to worry about mixing powders but thought I should double check with you resident wise ones.

Thanks, Tall

I don't worry about it much.

But I also have a small 100PSI air compressor, and a shop vac next to the bench.

TAKE THAT YOU PESKY TINY POWDER FLAKE!!

A few powder specs of a different powder type surely isn't going to blow you up though!

I don't know if I qualify as a "wise one" but I sure have an opinion. I too use a Dillon and am familiar with the cross bar you mention. I just blow out everything pretty well and don't worry about the stray fleck or two. Been doing it that way since about 1982 and haven't blown up anything......yet.

Much thanks. I will clean out as best I can, working the powder bar open and closed a few times, and leave it at that.
