I have been looking for a 3" K-frame for quite awhile. I have never seen on at a show except for the NIB M65 Ladysmith's. Today at the Knoxville show I found four. I missed a private sale on a M13-2 for $300 because I dithered. I missed a M65-2 for $239 But I did get the following M13-3. It is in good shape. The action is still tight and it has a nice smoth trigger pull. I haven't shot it yet. It is serial #BBA13xx. It was $265. After buying this I found an older gentleman walking around with a 3"M10 RB for which he was asking $200. Other items of interest: the same seller that had the M13 and M65 had the only 1941 Johnson I have ever seen offered for sale. The price $3400! He also had a nice M27-2 in nickel with the best trigger pull I have ever seen on an N-frame for $550. Not a bad show.

Your Smith & Wesson model 13-3 was most likely
made between the spring and summer of 1988. Serial's
begining with the "BBF" prefix date to July of that year.
