Hello everyone I just got a 9 and want to buy ammo 500 to 1000 rounds at a time.Where can I get it cheap on the net?
Good ammo not Wolf or CCi( no aluminum case ammo)

Where can you get cheap 9mm ammo nowadays? YOU CANT! :what:

Truthfully, the cheapest (which ain't cheap anymore) that I have found is at your local Wal-Mart. You might find it a little cheaper online, but once you add in shipping those savings quickly evaporate and its usually more expensive.

Just go to China-Mart and buy 5 100rounds boxes of WWB. Thats what I do.

EDIT:

$18.42......per 100 WWB
x.............10 boxes
----------------------------------
$184.20...1000rounds WWB (pre Tax)
+ 11.52...6% KY sales tax
----------------------------------
$195.25 Total for 1000rounds of WWB

You're not going to find anyone that can beat Wal Marts price. Even with their recent price increase on WWB, they're still the cheapest ammo dump in town (or cyberspace).

Some online source you can check include Ammoman, AIM Surplus, and Cheaper than Dirt. All 3 are good sources for ammo.

I agree with DerbyDale

For the most part, Wal-Mart is real competitive with anyone online. I have bought 5000 rounds of CCI aluminum case ammo from Cheaper Than Dirt and been happy with the ammo and the price. That's the only place that I could find that was cheaper than Wal Mart. I don't have a problem with the aluminum cases...

Try ammoman.com Fair prices and free shipping

right now they have Federal American Eagle 115gr. fmj ~$200/1000

I shoot CCI aluminum all the time in all my guns and there's never been a problem. The only drawback I know of to aluminum ammo is that it's not reloadable. I've bought a bunch of it from Wideners.com if you change your mind. I always buy Walmart but at times they're out so I keep a stash of aluminum on hand.

Just looked and Wideners is cheaper than Cheaperthandirt by a minimum of $2 per box for Blazer...

+1 on Walmart's. I usually purchase my range ammo there. For carry ammo I have had good experience's with www.sportsmansguide.com/ if you buy in bulk and use a coupon code (search google for them) you can make out okay.

I buy a lot of .38sp reloads from www.mastercast.net. They also sell reloaded 9mm in various configurations. I save a lot by mailing them my spent brass. If you choose to do that, send it USPS Priority Mail. It costs me eight bucks and change to do it that way, as against over twenty bucks any other way I know of.
Cordially, Jack

It's a pain in the butt. However, if you have a Dick's Sporting goods near you do this:
Get a Dick's Club Card (or whatever they call it).
Watch real close for their sale ads and coupons in the paper. They often run $10 off of $50 or $20 off of $100 deals.
They also often run buy one get one 1/2 off ammo deals.
Buy an Entertainment Book if they have them in your area and Dick's is in it, they have great coupons that's good for ammo.
Use the Remington and Winchester rebates that come out each year for rifle ammo (also gets you more points towards the next gift card).
As you spend money at Dick's you'll get gift cards in the mail (more ammo).

It's a pain in the butt, but the other day I found a receipt that I pain $4.34 for Rem 9mm ammo per box last year!

If that's too much for you then it's Wally World or Ammoman. Both are great options if you want to keep it simple.

If you have a Bass Pro shops in your area, try them. Surprisingly, I have found them to be the cheapest for Rem UMC. $9.99 / 50 with 10% off right now. I am not sure about their online prices.
