Midway would have to guarantee that diameter is correct for me to buy any more factory seconds from them. If they will, then fine. I got burned with some 60 Gr .32 cal bullets.

Eh, not much of a guarantee from this:
Blemished Bullet Reloading Tip
Since these bullets do have slight blemishes it is always better to check bullets for defects in diameter before loading

A large percentage of the 500 60 Gr 32 Cal "blem" bullets I bought were .308, when they should have been .312, or at least .311. Neck tension was very poor with thin brass. I have them separated and marked. Dunno what I will do with them.

If their RN and you know someone that has a .30 Luger or Mauser. Though a light bullet for those cartridges, they could work I suppose. :)

I was burned a while back as well. I ordered Hornady 55gr FMJ and got a real hodgepodge of bullets...FMJ, soft points, different lengths and diameters of bullets etc. No more factory seconds for me. If you look around you can often find prices that are just as good or sometimes even better for bullets that aren't seconds.

Xtreme Bullets is running a 20% off site wide!

I almost ordered last week when they had free shipping but decided to wait until closer to Memorial Day. Glad I did. This is the best sale I've seen them run. Over the past several months I've seen some sale prices for various FMJs that are better than X-Treme's plated prices so maybe they've decided to try and recover some of the business that they lost. If so, it worked on me.

I see shipping is $5 all the time so I did not think there is anything special about the free shipping, but with 20% off site wide that's a game changer. My credit card is gonna take a hit.

NP torchroadster, atleast you gave them a link.

I'd be reluctant, despite the fact that the 500 blem 150 Gr .308 bullets I bought were beautiful and are shooting great in my 300 BLK. Prices aren't good enough to risk it for me.

When X-Treme does the 20% off deal they are hard to beat if you need something they have. Just have to keep an eye on places and catch the deals when you can.

I don't buy blems / seconds anymore . uver / under weight - out of round and to short or long .
I stopped buying years ago , but nephew was in Reno and came back with 2 boxes for 357 . After checking a few - they were used in slling shot and add weight for plastic flowers .

I have 100 lbs of bullets on the way from Xtreme. :D The mail person is going to hate me.

I've purchased pulled bullets a couple of times now, and got burned both times, from different vendors. The one time I bought blemished bullets from Midway, they were 30 carbine bullets that were slightly undersized, .3075.

I'll stick with the normal bullets and try to catch them on sale.

At 20% off I decided to take a chance on some plated 30 Carbine bullets from X-Treme. I normally load Hornady or Armscor FMJs so this is going to be a first attempt at using plated. I figure at $34 for 500 I don't have a lot to lose.

I would be interested to know how they work for you. I've stayed away from them, customer service told me they were not rated for more than 1500fps, but I have heard some people are pushing them faster
