To anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive source of good clean lead, I highly recommend the ebay seller stamp1963. I have no affiliation with the seller. I am just throwing this out there for anyone who struggles to find inexpensive sources. They have a lot of sells and 100% positive feedback.

I started buying this seller's lead a couple of months ago. It has adequate fill out and comes in around 12-14BHN. I have cast nearly 6,000 bullets with it (mostly .357 and a few .380s) and have had nothing but great results.

I have purchased several hundred pounds and have found it to be consistent. With the "Buy it now" option, it comes in around $1.10 per pound including shipping. I have been successfully able to bid on boxes for as low as .96 per pound.

I know a lot of you don't have issues finding inexpensive sources of lead but it has seriously dried up where I am at. With wheel weights being unavailable from most local shops and costing around .88 per pound for salvage, I have found this source of ebay lead to be a great option.

be still my wittle heart

Was in the Buda, TX cabelas last night and they had plenty of BE-86 and yes indeedy POWER PISTOL. Whooo hooo!!!

Gun show in Raleigh today had plenty of powder and primers, at good prices. I saw all the staples - Unique, Bullseye, AA#2, 5, 7, 9, W231, Varget, etc etc. Good prices as well.

Local warehouse sporting goods store near Tacoma has had pistol powders on the shelf now for about two weeks. Winchester, Alliant and Hodgdon brands, and a bit of VV also. Only a couple of Western/Ramshot, but those included True Blue and Nitro 100. All in 1# cans, though, no 8 pounders. Nice to see that it is showing up, and that it is not disappearing in a matter of hours. For at least the time being, it looks like the droughts are over in many places.

Does anyone have experience with those bullets? It seems like a smoking deal...
Yeah, I shoot them in a 1:12 barrel and they have always been great. If you want that many the price can't be beat. I have boxes going back to the mid 90s and they were about $8.00 per hundred so go figure. It's a great price.

That's why I and my nieces and nephew have been buying powder , primers and a few bullets .
We go to range and get a pound of powder or brick of primers .
It used to be shoot for an hour or so and eat on way home - now we just buy more reloading and eat at home .

Was (as in past tense) one heck of a good deal. Today they reflect Out Of Stock. I considered it but I have around 6,000 assorted .224 bullets as is with several thousand match. Had to know that deal would end quick, it was a sweet price. :)

I don't believe anyone has mentioned this yet. Cabelas has free shipping with purchase over $99 until 5/27 (coupon code 56MEM) and their hazmat fee is a flat $20. When you subtract the shipping cost it brings the hazmat down to a reasonable level. In my case the free shipping is saving me $15 on 2000 primers and a few other small items so my net cost over and above product is only $5.

Don't forget, if you live in a state that has a Cabelas store in it you will have to pay sales tax also.
