Is it really so problematic? LGS had Federal primers on shelf. I got 1000 of LP because didn't have any. I have 2k of SP and still wait for my press. I know I will be fine until August for sure. Situation will imporove no doubt, why buy 10k amounts?!

I mean I can afford buy 100000 but don't see a point of doing it, everything seem to get better right now.

I can shoot up 10K pistol primers in a couple of years easily, and it spreads the hazmat out. I used to just buy 2 or 3K at a time at gun shows in town, but at first his prices went way up, and then he had none at all. No sense in buying less than 5K online, and 10K is better.

I don't know. Even if you out completely and pay $50/k it might be cheaper to buy some more at $20/k in couple month..

Should be, and probably will be, but the last time this happened (Four years ago), my guy at the shows stayed high long after the primers came back. Kind of soured me on buying from him. His wife is real nice, but he has the personality of a rock.

I am not out of anything, but my working stock is low in a couple of places.

I decided to play cool and get what I need only. People will get enough and they will be available in couple of month and maybe cheaper. I buy lot's of 9mm Ammo and I see it is getting more and more available online.

Well, I had been sort of watching for trail boss to come up.
I just ordered 5lb from 3rd gen, lets see how they do this time. First two times was pretty impressive, less than 7 business days to my door.

At 8:30 last night, Cabelas in Kansas City, KS had small rifle and small pistol primers. (They may have had others as I didn't ask for large primers.) They were $40 per 1,000.

Their powder shelf was almost full. I didn't recognize most of the labels as I'm just getting into reloading but I did pick up 2 lbs of H110 for $24 each.

Maybe not the best prices but no Hazmat and shipping fees made it easy for me.

The store was fairly empty last night so I expect there is still some there when they open this morning.

PS. They also a lot of PMC 38 Special and 380 cartridges.

Things were looking up at my local stores then there was a gun show and suddenly nothing left on shelves at my local places. Makes me wonder if people bought to take to shows and sell at through the roof prices
