Just came from a Gun show in Kansas City MO. Was glad to see the most stuff at fair prices I've seen in a while. Lots of powders, I bought some of the New Alliant BE-86, saw IMR 7625, Win Autocomp and others. Lots of BL-C2, h335, lots really at better prices than previous shows. Maybe a break soon, or at least possible to get some anyway.

Actually, we have been through several cycles of various component shortages since 2008 and we certainly have gone through the "projectile drought".Toprudder said:First, primers were hard to find. When the primers became plentiful again, the powder drys up. If there is a progression to this, I guess bullets will be hard to find soon. LOL.
I had not heard this before. Don't know why Olin/Winchester and Hodgdon would discontinue W231/HP-38, probably the most popular pistol powder on the market.I had heard HP38 was going away.
W231 is NOT going away, only HP38. I heard they are getting rid of some of the duplicates since Winchester, Hodgdon and IMR have merged. Also, some of the IMR powders are now under the Hodgdon label, like 700x.I had not heard this before.
