When will this shortage end? Same time as the last one, the day before the next election. The day after is when the next shortage begins!
 
Primer prices

Looks like the going rate on CCI primers has reset to $40. Natchez and Cabela's both show up on gunbot. I think it is a fact that if you try to be competitive or politically correct in pricing, you just get wiped out in a hour or less. Higher prices help those who really need them.

Seems I am noticing a distinct worsening of the pistol powder situation.... Last big gun show I went to the main guy I get powder from mentioned that, and to grab what you can now, seems to be true based on my searching anyway. Hopefully this will pass also.

Found some

I have watching this thread for some time and watching prices her in Southern Illinois. Local store has powder and primers. Primers $40 per thousand. Not terrible. Last box I bought before the panic was $34 so I can live with $40. Powder was in good supply compared to not long ago. Titegroup, 700X, Green Dot all around $20 per pound. Got some and didn't lose sleep over the prices.

My LGS's reloading aisle shelves are more pathetic looking than I have ever seen them. No LPP, less than 10 pounds of obscure powders, no brass etc...completely picked over and undersupplied. I did manage to get some corncob media and avoid shipping, but I doubt I saved much, considering the driving distance. However, I happened to be close because of a car appt.
 
Ready, set, Starline 9mm brass...

Just got off the phone with Starline.

I saw that Midway sent me a text that starline 9mm was available. When I checked, you had to back order it. So I called Starline, their site also said "backorderable." They told me yes, it should be ready to ship within a week or so. With that I back ordered 1000 of those 9mm. She said it would be here next week sometime.

Last time I did this, it was gone quick with no backorder available, so I thought I would give a headsup!

This may be well known but I thought it worth posting 'just in case'. Cabela's has had CCI primers on sale on their web site for the last few weeks but the hazmat charge for a small quantity did not make it worth while. I made it to the store in Buda today (about a hour trip) just to look around and they had SPP primers but at their regular, in-store price. On impulse I took a box to customer service and asked if I could get the on-line price. They said "no problem, just tell the person at the register." Bought both boxes they had in stock and saved $20.
 
Unique at recobs

Just scored a 8lbs jug of Unique, they also had one pounders of Bullseye. Also, Win 296, Benchmark, H1000, H110, and Varget
