Gunbot

I get my powder and primers locally, but I found a cool sight that is helpful in locating supplies.

http://www.gunbot.net/

It tracks who has ammo, mags, and reloading supplies. It has a pull down that lets you sort by price, brand, or store.

Good luck!

Winchester LPP in Nashville tn

FYI:
BELLSHIRE HARDWARE
3837 Dickerson Pike, Nashville, TN 37207
(615) 860-4212

Has quite a lot of WLPPs. $32/1000 or, $30/1000 when purchased 5k at a time.

Just a big thanks to Walkalong ! You posted that Butches had powder and I checked, heck with the powder, they had Federal SPP . I quick snagged 5K . I got a little 380 that's primer fussy,It only likes Federals. I just used my last Federal primer last week. Thank you !
I had never heard of Butches before. Clubbed me a little on the shipping but I'm ok with that.

Powder Valley has a bunch of Alliant Powder in stock mostly the Reloader series...no Unique

thanks for saving me the trip. I wish Alliant would do what Hornady did and focus production on the more popular versatile powders like Unique.

Allied had a release of Unique a couple months back.

Yeah I was really lucky and able to snag an 8# jug on powder valley. I was down to my last 2, 1pound bottles. I'm going through a pound every 2-3 months. Would have bought more if powder valley didn't have the one per customer limit, tried calling a buddy at work to have him order a bottle but by time he got back from lunch it was all gone. Gunbroker has it going for 100% or more markup and people are paying for it.

If you're in Arkansas or at least in central Arkansas, you may want to head to Ft. Thompson if you're looking for powder. They had 8lb kegs of everything. I picked up two 8lb kegs of IMR4064. They had 8lb kegs of Varget. They had a good selection of a lot of powder. 4895 in IMR and H. 4831 in IMR and H. Lots of different Alliant powders etc. They received like 3600 pounds of powder the other day. I didn't find out until today. Even had CFE223. Lots of powder. Get it while you can!

Ok, I just had to post this :

I got the "luck of the shooter", that is a wise heads up from someone watching the supply closer than I, and got a whole box of brand new 458 socom brass from starline in the mail today.

Lesson :

When your forum buddies call, text, email, and Forum message you to get your butt online- get your butt online ! Lol.

The worst of the drought is over component wise, but some of us are still lookin for that oddball stuff- keep your ears to the ground, and let the folks know who need to know....... You never know when it might back come your way.

If you need large rifle primers, was at Grafs today, and was told they're expecting a large shipment of Winchester wlr this week... I think they're still about $35/k

News at 11:00! Isn't that just because there is no handgun powder

Stopped by the LGS today, and got a # of w231, and a # of H110, and a brick of CCI350's.... right off the shelf.

They had 22lr in 5 different flavors. I didn't need it, so I didn't buy it. Thats how were getting to the end of this. Eventually everyones' wives are telling them they can't max out another credit card to buy more stuff just because its there- because they have the same stuff at home.

Its out there.

6 months ago ...... dust.

Now there is Loaded ammo aplenty, bullets, primers, AR mags, and powder to be had. Seeing loaded ammo makes the guy who doesn't reload, want to reload, and buying a bunch of stuff he may never use- only to have it show up in a garage sale 5 years from now. I'm pretty sure this is whats happening to my brass at my local scrounge spots.

ITs not like the summer of '11, but we're much closer to the edge of the woods than the beginning.
