I've searched the web over and over and cant find a site where I can buy exploding targets for my .22. What are some good sites I can order from?

Empty plastic bottles work for me, coke, water, etc.

Tannerite can't be set off by a .22 and, in fact, they say it is tough to reliably detonate it with even .223. It's simply not going to work if all you've got is a .22.

Sportman's Guide has had the Tannerite-type binary exploders in the past in various sizes for .22lr up to center fire rifle.
See if you can find outdated or dented caned goods, They explode very nicely!

we tried hitting some tannerite targets with 22lr, it wouldnt budge. had to slap it with the AR to get it to go off. buy some cheap CO2 cartridges if you want some fun.
Sorry, but you are wrong. It explodes so fast it puts out it's own fire. If you put gas or something near it, then you will get a fireball, check youtube. We have set off many in dry leaves and everything else you can think of, without so much as smoke from the grass/leaves.
.22LR wont do it, a 17 HMR will. An AR15 is perfect for it, never had one not go off with a .223. We use a .22-250 for the big ones at 100+ yds.

I've set off pounds of this stuff with anything from a 223 and up and it always goes off. You are correct in saying that it will not set grass on fire because its explosive velocity is over 5K fps about the same a dynamite. Its also good for tuning logs into split firewood and sending small objects into orbit.

If you can live with a target only .68 inches in diameter, what's great and cheap is paintballs. They explode in living color!

Fruit! In the summer when the pears on my tree need thinning I pick a 5 gal. bucket fill and take them out in the woods and shoot them with a 22. If you hit them good they are gone if not the target is smaller and more of a challange. Aluminum cans filled with water splat nicely when hit with a 22.

Clay pidgeons. They're cheap, you can buy them in boxes of 100 and you can crush them in your hand.
Or.... cheap soda. Buy a thirty-two pack of something cheap and carbonated and shake em up real good then put them out. Not only do they explode but it fun to watch

I bought them exploding targets at a gun show a few years back,They all went off when I hit them with a 22,
I bought a kit the last time I bought them, it was in 2 parts, mix the two part in a small.plastic bottle and fill up little targets,add the fronts, and the backs had sticky tape,they worked great,all went bang too.when hit with a 22

heh...Tannerite is great if you want to eliminate stumps and such.
Also great for making a car into a rag-top.
Dunno if there is anyone here from the AK boards, but there might be some who have been to a little town called Calvert here in Texas...We had some fun out there.
Also have set off Tannerite with 17 HMR and a 22 Hornet...all at 100 yards or thereabouts.

Shooting clays. Yeah I know, kinda boring compared to some of the posts. The White Flyer brand clays I was shooting today, @ 50 yds actually blew up a little instead of just breaking like others I've shot at. They actually sent broken pieces a couple of feet when hit right.
