Where is your gun safe?

which one,i have 3. one in my office, one up stairs, and one in loading shop.

someone said they couldn't afford a safe. if you can afford guns you can afford a safe. 1000.00 at tractor supply gets you a 40in wide one. also i used to sell safes, most don't know that if its a home safe ,its tax deductable. store your important papers in it and call any of them home safes, then wright it off.

i bet if you have 11 guns stolen out of your living room you'll get a safe. they got me back in 1996.

Three in the garage, a lockable gun cabinet upstairs in the gun closet, a small pistol safe on the night stand, a larger pistol safe under the bed. Those in the garage are bolted to the concrete floor. The house has multiple alarms, and one vicious attack cat. Of course, I didn't say I keep guns in all the safes; if they get them out, a few have minimal content.

Mine is in a locked room in my basement. It's now on 2 x 4 lifts...remember, basements can flood...and mine has (though no water has ever gotten into the safe.) Even if your safed weapons don't get wet during a flood, I'd recommend tyaken them out and letting them all air out, then getting a thin film of oil on all metal surfaces.

I have a policy to help limit my acquisition of firearms - I will NOT buy more guns than my gun safe can hold, and I have a fairly small case. I guess that's why I've been buying a bunch of handguns lately - I CAN FIT MORE INTO MY CASE!! (As my space dwindles futher, I wouldn't be surprised if I start concentrating on collecting Beretta .22 or .25 semi-autos.)

Inside, in a bedroom behind the doors "dead-space". I am an HVAC tech so, i engineered a system that carries a small 3" round duct from my heating/cooling system and pumps it into hole cut into bottom of safe,Safe is lag-screwed to floor and wall,, somebody could get into it fairly easily if they wanted to, as it is just a cheap $150 safe, but i too "layer" my security, they gotta get past my snoopy-retired neighbors, past the home-alarm, past the dog and then wrestle open the steel door,, When i leave for extended periods of time,i take all my guns and "hide" them throughout the house,, in areas you'd NEVER expect to find them if you were a common criminal, and then leave some of my old-crappy guns in the safe un-locked, so if they do actually find the safe they will be disappointed to find an old bolt-action .22 with a busted wood stock and my junky-rossi single-shot .410,,
