I'm looking for 124g FMJ bullets that i can buy by the hundred. I'm wanting to do some testing with them and i dont want to buy 500+ of them to find out i want to stick with Lead. Where can i find some? And yes i'm wanting 124/125g only.

You should be able to find some on Midway sold in 100/250/500. Look under "handgun ammo" not "bulk handgun ammo"
Missouri Bullet Company has some 125 gr RN. 500 for $27
Berry's has some 124 or 125 gr(?) for somewhere around $25 per 250.

i think i found some but they are FMC(full metal case) not FMJ. What is the difference?

Sorry read it wrong, Missouri bullet company, I would take a look there

I have several local shops that sell Hornady bullets in 100 lot box's. And there all cheaper than the the net pricing.

Old krow, thanks for pointing that out. The first link was all inclusive of 9mm bullet weights.

Here's a refined listing of 122 gr and heavier - http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/Bro...19785***9015***7247***&sortBy=RetailPrice asc

Some FMC are plated bullets. There are FMJ with round metal discs covering the exposed lead at the bottom also called CMJ (complete metal jacket) or TMJ (Total Metal Jacket).

On Midway you should see Magtech, Rem, Hornady, Sierra, and Speer all in the 124/125 gr in boxes of 100. There might be a few others there as well.

I found these, are they FMJ or plated? That will make a big difference when i start load testing with them.

45taurus, on the Cabela's link when you click the "Select CAL/GAUG" option, it shows "9mm 124 GR FMC" (Full Metal Case) $12.99/100.
I would check with Cabela's to verify whether these Magtech bullets are plated or jacketed - my guess is that they are plated.

MidwayUSA does show Magtech 9mm 124 gr FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) bullets at $12.49/100 but they are out of stock - http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=1657144477

They also have Remington 9mm 124 gr FMJ bullets at $11.49/100 (click the 100/500/1000/2000 quantity box and "Add to cart" blue button will activate - http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=1601374003

yes but i'm also ordering some dies and another turret disk from cabelas and am wanting to add the bullets to the order i am already placing.(saves shipping costs). I'll call them tomorrow and make sure they are not plated.

Midway doesn't have the dies i'm looking for.

If you want some Montana Gold 124gr JHP, I bought 1000 and I dont' think I'll miss a couple hundred if you want to buy them. I like the HP's because they have jacket covering the bottom like the FMC. And they aren't any more expensive, really.

Here is what Powder Valley has listed at this time.

REMRB9MM2 REMINGTON 9MM 124 GR MC (100) INSTOCK $10.04
