These things apparently are either like gold or S&W are having problems with them. I can't seem to find any in stock (that are selling near what the price from S&W says it should be). Every place that has them in stock wants beaucoup bucks for them...

They were all over the local gun show here in Cleveland this past weekend. I found them appealing but the laser was awkward to activate.

In the Minneapolis market, Gander Mountain and Cabelas do not have them in stock (and have been out of stock for weeks now). An independent camping/outdoor store called Joe's Sporting Goods has them in stock at $349 (everyday price).

I looked all over for one, and finally found the only one available in Pensacola. I bought it, so now there aren't any available in Pensacola (unless someone got a new shipment in).

And I am very, very happy with it. :)

Wow that $349 is a nice price.....demand is showing some of them going for around $400 on gunbroker.....

.
I'm seriously considering getting one since I saw them at Streichers for $299 personal and $250 if your department purchases it......however, you order now and they don't come in til about October.

Now that I see that Joe's is selling them for $350, I'm willing to eat the $50 to have it 7 months earlier.

Is $350 a good price?

Or do you think it will continue to go down?

I agree price will likely not drop any further. When they first came out they were going for over $500 and now some how the going rate is around $350, but I wouldn't expect to see them get any cheaper.

I can think of a few LGS with them, where are you located?

I'm not a fan of 380 but the slim pocket design and the big demand makes me want one now.

I got mine for $400.00 here in Pensacola, and I'm happy with the price and the gun. If you want the gun and can get one for $350.00, you should take it and run like a thief, imvho.

Academy had them for 349.00 last week (regular price 399.00) Gone today. They really are a hot item around here and last maybe a day before sold. I found one at Cheaper Than Dirt on sale for $349.00 and was lucky to find the extra magazines which go fast too. The laser button is not a problem for me and was accurate out of the box. Maybe with the return in popularity of the .380 pocket rockets, the ammo will drop in price a little. (yeah, right) I sold my AMT years ago and never looked back until the little BG380 bit me. The Ruger LC9 is hard to find also.

A friend of mine has one at his gun/pawn shop. He's a ex-marine, retired, former I'm not sure of the proper term but if you care to talk to him send me an e-mail and I'll send his info. His gun/pawn shop is in the Camden SC area. The gun is new and priced nicely.

David Rose had em on his Billboard last month - near Fayetteville Arkansas.
