A friend has a Tru Dot adjustable night sight for his Glock, but it is missing the very-small bolt that goes through it for the windage adjustment. Any ideas where one could find something like that?

Well, tried that route. I found their website, sent an email, and they said to mail it to an authorized service center in New York and they would see if they had a windage screw for it. I just got it back today. They said it was an old model that they no longer have any parts for.

Oh, well. I guess I'll just toss it. I would have thought someone somewhere would make a small, fine threaded screw like this.

I know this is really not worth the time and effort, but I've been trying to figure out the size/pitch of the screw I need, and where to find one.

From my measurements of the threaded hole and estimating the number of threads; it's either a 1-64 x 3/4", or a metric M2-0.40 x18. Seeing how they are an Israeli company, I suspect metric, but I think they're almost the same thread.

I can find these on-line, 100 at a time. With a $7 shipping charge, it's really not worth it.

Would anyone here happen to have any small machine screws, 1-64 or M2-.040 screw, that I could buy?

Junked electronics will have lots of small nuts and bolts in them. Get an old VCR and take it apart.
