I lost the small screw that attaches the link piece to the hammer. Where can I get this small screw?

do ya mean the screw that attaches the hand to the hammer?
Cabelas sells a parts replacement kit for the 1858 which includes most screws (except frame screws), hammer, trigger, hand, both springs, and bolt stop for about $30 or so!

Denster...
it does contain the screws for the hammer...trigger...and bolt..the ones that hold them in the frame from the side.
Certainly a great parts kit to have on hand and those parts interchange with the Spiller & Burr revolver.

Bluehawk. I've got five sets I just received from Cabela's yesterday sitting right here in front of me. They contain Mainspring, bolt/trigger spring, hand and spring, hammer, trigger and bolt but not a screw in any of them.

Bluehawk. That's a valuable piece of info. I'm calling them in the morning and ordering a few sets. I didn't know sets were available. Thanks!

Denster yer most welcome...they have them for the Colts too...I hope this makes up for my mistake earlier!

Yeah I saw that some of those comming this way also. I made a mistake once, back in 72, I thought I was wrong but I wasn't:D:D:D
