where to go for custom grips?

    Looking for recommendations for custom grip makes (exotic wood) for Ruger Single Actions (Single Six and New Model Blackhawk).

    Cary C is what all other are compared to. I like Klamath River Woodworks myself. For more affordable choices, look at those offered by Pvt Shultz and 41magnum on RugerForum.com

    Eagle Grips makes rosewood and ebony grips. I don't know if these fit your definition of exotic. Ajax and Hogue make grips in woods with more grain "figure."
