Where to purchase old non-working shotguns?

Hey guys, I didn't figure this should go in the buy/sell area as I am not looking for working shotguns. What I am looking for are old rusted barrels, stocks eatin' buy bugs/animals, non-firing etc. for a wall hanger. My uncle found 2 old shotguns in an old farm house he bought in SC and they look great on the wall. One is so old and decayed that the stock is totally gone and just the metal remains.
Do you guys know if there is anyone out there who sells these relics?

Yep, I have been looking at our gun shows for a year or so and have yet to find any.

Try your local gun shop - sometimes they will take such stuff in along with other guns in a tade. My local shop has a "parts" gun stash in the shed.

Another method I have used with little, but some success, is to put an ad in the local paper : "Wanted to Buy , worn out, beat up , rusty, and non functioning guns for decorative use."

I actually found weapons like that in an antique store in Kansas. They were pretty proud of them unfortunately.

If you asked this question last March I would have gladly sent you my old Essex 12 guage. The barrel was bent but the wood was beautiful. I thought about restoring but when I was taking it apart, I discovered that the receiver was very rusted and cracked. I ended up cutting it up into little pieces and throwing it away. Sorry.
