I've been liquidating a bunch of un-needed parts and assesories lately, and I have several 40-rd Russian AK mags that have been gathering dust (figure of speech) for 10 years or so.
I just did a couple searches, and couldn't find any of these Russian-made mags, and nearly all of the imported 40-rd mags I found were out of stock.
These Rusky 40-rounders were all the rage a while back, and I grabbed a few from someplace like AIM, Copes or Sportsmansguide, I forget. I did the research, and they have the proper factory stamps along the spine, but I kinda forget which ones were which, too.
Anyway, you get the idea, any info is much appreciated....
edit: after more research, I found a lengthy old thread on another forum that was dedicated to identifying AK mags. I found out one of the spine stamps on these 40-rounders meant, "Russian...made at the Vyatskie Polyany Arsenal also known as Molot". Apparantly, that's desirable, but how that translates into definable value, I don't know yet.
