The few USFA guns I've come across have been very well put together. Given the price point range there is something for everyone depending on desire.

I prefer the Colt-type trigger, flat spring-feel. I have owned Ruger SA's, and just do not like the feel of the gun. I voted for the Uberti. I shoot these types better, and they are reproductions of the Colt SAA, not SAA-like revolvers with "extra" features. FWIW, Uberti made the Colt black powder revolvers when Colt "re-issued" them in the 1970's. They were made in Italy, finished in Arkansas (by Iver Johnson) and marked and sold as Colts for a very high price.

Uberti's will do anything that a Colt SAA will do, except you can buy at least 3 of the Ubertis for the price of a Colt and you don't have to be afraid to shoot it. (Colt SAA's have come down to about $1200 each on some online sites.)

Blackhawk, I like adjustable sights on my outdoor guns and I don't shoot cowboy games with mine, just game. Love those .44 mag level HOT .45 Colt handloads. BOOOOOOM! :D

Taurus models because I have heard so many bad things about them I decided they are not in the running.

Mama used to tell me believe half of what ya see and none of what ya hear. I have three Taurus revolvers, DA revolvers, that are excellent to fantastic.
