Which 9mm?

Go for the P210. I shoot mine at 3" steel plates at 25 yards. I have to back up to 35 yards to have any hope of missing. It is the ultimate range gun. You can even make 100 yard shots with it, it is a short rifle.

Well, the SIG P210 is possibly the most accurate, tightest, smoothest, most reliable 9x19mm handgun in existence, with the best single-action trigger you may find anywhere... including expensive 1911s. Of course, the prices range from high ($1,000 for a super-duper deal on a used basic model) to psychotic (about $4,000 for the most expensive variant new in the box  ). They make a P7 seem like a crude lump of pig-iron by comparison... and P7s are nice.

Downsides? Aside from price? Hammer bite. Magazines are expensive as hell and only hold 8 rounds. Eurotrash magazine release.

Value is relative, but for the $1,500 you can expect to spend if you shop around a bit, they are much better quality than a semi-custom 1911 at the same price point in my opinion. And they will last pretty much forever.

I had to sell mine, and unless I find a deal I can't refuse, I probably won't get another one. But if you want the best 9x19mm gun there is, there is the P210, and then there is everything else.

Well I purchased a SIG P210-6 a few hours ago. :D Will go to the range sometime this week and post a range report. I haven't had hammer bite from any of my other guns, including a Browning HP Practical, so I'm hoping that won't be a problem. Dealer was out of extra mags so I'll still have to spring for a couple of those. Euro mag release is stiff but really not a problem since I'm used to them (I have several other SIGs with the euro release, although they are not stiff like the P210).

My indoor range only goes to 25 yards so I'd like to go to an outdoor range to see what I can do at further distances.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I've had so many of the 9mms that were suggested that I thought I'd just go with the P210 and if that doesn't satisfy me then I'm a lost cause!!!

I would go CZ first, followed by the SIG.
The BHP is well known for reliability, but in my experience their triggers suck.
If you like the 1911 trigger pull, odds are against the P-35.
The other two may put your 1911's to shame.
