between me and my dad i have owned two, and he has owned three bushmasters, all different set ups and configutrations. we hav never had a problem out of any of them at all. and we don't get together and shoot very often because we are so far apart, but when we do we make up for lost times a few times over!:) we have never had any issues wih any of em, from long range sessions to short, all kinds of ammo, and weather conditions. i like bushmaster alot. I can't do that shoot and shoot andshoot and not clean thing, but I think the bushmaster would be just fine.

Sold

I sold my A2 Sporter 2 for $950. I am pretty much satisfied with selling it at that price and looking into a extremely accurate flat top jobber. I am leaning toward the Colt for several reasons but mainly the resale is also higher. What can I expect to pay for the top of the line Colt?

I would get an Armalite w/ 20" barrel and removable iron sights. That way you could scope it and still be able to put the irons back on. If you can get a pre-ban or post-ban-lifted threaded for a flash hider (in a "free" state), you can put on a tactical muzzle brake (<= 1" diameter, 3" long), or the large JP muzzle brake.
