Agree with the 1,000 to 1,500 figure, however, both condition and model can impact the price considerably. For example, an average condition Sporter Target may go for $1.0-1.1K, while an unfired, mint, Government Model may run more like $1.7-1.8K.

If you're thinking of buying, consider holding off until after the AWB sunset deadline. If it does sunset, prices should drop...maybe considerably (poor bastards!). If it doesn't, I really don't see prices going any higher.
