Which barrel?

Okay so I'm gonna get a longer barrel for my Mossberg 88 to go skeet/trap shooting with a friend. It came with a 18.5 smooth bore and am gonna get a longer one. They have 24' and 28' barrels both smooth bore with their accu set choke system. I'm kinda thinking the longer 28' would be better but wanted some other opinions. Thanx.

You want to get the 28". The longer barrel allows you to swing the gun smoothly. The 24" would be good for turkeys or deer.

Ya thanx man, that's what I was thinking but just wanted some support before blowin another $150. Now if I can just find a place with em in stock....

MAKster is right. Get the 28" barrel for skeet, trap, and sporting clays.
