Hi folks, I'm looking for suggestions for a bipod rig for a 20" heavy barrel AR with scope. It has a Yankee Hill Machine free-float 5005 handguard with forward quadrails.
I want it mounted on the bottom rail of the HG and easily detachable by hand. The bottom rail is only about 3 or 4" long.
Weight is not an issue as the rifle is already heavy. No forward hand grip or monopod. Intended use is varmints and plinking at mid to long range.
I looked at Harris 6-9" and a seperate QD swivel mount block but it goes about $130 for both.
Is there a simpler option? under $100 would be even better.
