Which branch of the military?

When you find yourself in a tight situation, Marine training will give you the best chance of coming out alive.

By the way, the lack of Marine casualties since April is largely due to the 1st MEF returning stateside last summer. They're headed back in a couple of weeks, replacing the 82nd Airborne in Fallujah. My son-in-law is going with them; his second tour also.

Were those morons at MEPS not so rigid about crap, I'd join the Marines in a heartbeat. I was in the DEP, passed MEPS the first time, but was diagnosed with arthritis, something that doesn't manifest itself in any noticeable way.

The USMC is definitely my fav. branch. My little bro is a Marine serving in the 2nd radio battalion at Camp Lejeune currently. I've visited him both there and at Camp Pendleton, and each time I've felt a pang of regret for not having had the opportunity.

Thank you for pointing that out, Enfield. I thought that every one knew the United States Army was the outfit taking the brunt of the terrorist activities in recent months. Along with the poor Iraqi cops.

How old was Riddick Bowe when he enlisted in the Marine Corps?

I bet his recruiter is still doing pushups for that stunt!

Regards.
