When you find yourself in a tight situation, Marine training will give you the best chance of coming out alive.
By the way, the lack of Marine casualties since April is largely due to the 1st MEF returning stateside last summer. They're headed back in a couple of weeks, replacing the 82nd Airborne in Fallujah. My son-in-law is going with them; his second tour also.
